Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies.

Last updated 1 September 2026

1. Who we are

This cookie policy explains how Orange Ink Consulting uses cookies and similar technologies on lastone-standing.com and app.lastone-standing.com. It should be read with the Privacy Policy. UK cookie rules sit in PECR, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, alongside UK GDPR.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Some are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for (for example staying signed in). Others are optional.

3. How we ask you

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject optional cookies. We store that choice in local storage under the key cookie_consent_status so we do not ask on every page load. Strictly necessary cookies may be used without that consent because the Service cannot run without them. You can reset the choice with the button on this page, which shows the banner again.

4. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on):

  • Authentication and session cookies from our hosting and auth provider (Supabase), so we can keep you signed in and recognise your account.
  • A CSRF / authenticity token used to protect forms and requests.
  • A language cookie (lang) so we can show the Service in the correct locale.
  • A theme cookie and local storage key so the interface can load in the right colour mode.

Preference storage (local storage, not a third-party cookie):

  • cookie_consent_status — remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies.

Optional: if you accept, we may use first-party analytics or diagnostics to understand how the marketing site and app are used and to improve them. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies. If we add a named analytics tool later, we will update this policy and only run it where you have accepted optional cookies (or where UK law allows a first-party statistics cookie with a simple opt-out).

5. Processors

Supabase sets authentication cookies as part of providing the Service you asked for. Stripe may set cookies on checkout pages that it hosts or embeds, so it can process the service fee securely. Sentry may receive technical diagnostics; it is not used for advertising.

6. How long they last

Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Authentication cookies last long enough to keep you signed in for a normal return visit. The theme cookie is stored for up to a year. cookie_consent_status stays until you reset it or clear site data.

7. How to control cookies

Use Accept or Reject on our banner, or the reset button on this page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and parts of the Service from working. For independent guidance, see the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when our cookies change. The date at the top of the page will change when we do.

This shows the cookie banner again so you can accept or reject optional cookies.
